Commission Work - The Beast in the Night

This commissioned work was to do a drawing of a werewolf facing the viewer, keeping it simple but at the same time stricking and a bit frightening, without it being too much of a monster. I did it in the style of my Mixed Media/Animalia Works.

First the linework, then the painting. Slowly the fur and the small details and finishing it with highlights, shadows and a soft texture.

Commission work - Mind Wanderer

I was asked to do a commission work on the style of my Painting Collages, using the following moodboard as inspiration and with total freedom on concept, theme, colors, etc.

I was inspired mostly by the Mona Lisa portrait by Leonardo Da Vinci and by the top left artwork (author unknown) which I later discovered to be the cover of a book titled Buvard, by Julia Kerninon.

With the moodboard given, I wanted to create a portrait with a surreal/fantasy theme. It had to have some elements of nature and it had to have an intimate feeling.

After the work was completed, all that was missing was the requested dedication and my signature along with the year and the indication of this work to be a limited edition of one. Along with the work, a certificate of authenticity was made.
