Tales and Fables
INSPIRED BY MY OWN WORKS AND OTHERS...
He slowly rose from his bed and made his way to the window, drew back the curtains and a vast underwater world stretched out before him.
Before the massive window, his heart quickened. Through the glass shimmered with an otherwordly luminescence, sunlight filtered through the depths, a tapestry of blue hues and gentle currents. He pressed his forehead against the cool glass. He could feel those currents caress him, the weightlessness of the water. And there they were, giants roaming, gracefully gliding through the water. Their grace ssemed to defy their size. It looked like a dance, their movements effortlessly elegant and gentle. He couldn't look away. The dreams he had were brought to life before his eyes. He suddenly felt an overwhelming desire to capture this movement, this dance, this underwater pilgrimage. The majesty of these massive and magnificent creatures translated into strokes of color. With a delicate touch, he applied the first brushstroke, the colors dancing upon the canvas, giving birth to the underwater world in front of him. His thoughts swirled with his brush movements, mimicking the delicate dance of the large beasts outside entwining with the strokes of his brush. In his mind, he swam alongside the majestic creatures and heard the their symphony of the sea reverberate through his being. Exhilarated from being so close to these magnificent creatures, marveled at how the massive creatures seemed to come alive on the canvas, almost like the real ones swimming before him in some unknown mystic pilgrimage beneath the waves, their movements fluid and graceful, their eyes shimmering with the sunrays from above. Hours passed. The final touches were applied, the canvas was finished. He stepped back, in awe and trepidation. He felt bound to the mysteries of the sea and the ethereal dance of the giants of the sea. Was it really finished? Would this masterpiece be enough to fulfill his yearning? Comments are closed.
